You didn't change your skincare. Your skin changed.
Somewhere in your forties, it starts. Foundation catches in lines that weren't there last year. Your skin feels tight by 3pm no matter how much moisturiser you put on. The glow you never had to think about has quietly gone.
It isn't your fault and it isn't your imagination. From your mid-thirties, your skin makes around 1% less collagen every year, and the barrier that holds moisture in gets thinner and leakier. Less collagen means less bounce. A weaker barrier means dryness, dullness and sensitivity that won't shift.
Which is why a richer moisturiser on its own stops being enough. You need to do two things at once: repair the barrier, and tell your skin to start making collagen again.
That's exactly what these two products do.
Two steps. Two minutes. Every evening.
This isn't a ten-step routine and it isn't a replacement for everything you own. It's the last two steps of your evening — after you've cleansed, before you turn the light off.
-
STEP 1 — Ceramide Fix Overnight Cream 12%
Rebuilds the barrier.
A rich, fragrance-free night cream with a 12% active complex — ceramides, squalane, azelaic acid and prebiotic biolin. Ceramides are the mortar between your skin cells; as we age we lose them, and moisture leaks out. This puts them back.Pea-sized amount. Face, neck and décolleté.
-
STEP 2 — Peptide Fix Finishing Oil 2%
Signals collagen. Seals everything in.
Our No.1 bestseller, and the blue one you've probably seen. Copper peptides act as messengers that tell your skin cells to produce more collagen — the protein responsible for firmness and bounce. Because it's an oil, it also seals in everything underneath it, so your cream works harder.Shake to activate. Three drops, patted on as the very last step.
An oil? On my skin?
It's lightweight and non-greasy — it sinks in rather than sitting on top. And because it goes on last, it locks in every product you've applied before it. Even oily and combination skin benefit: well-hydrated skin produces less excess oil.

You'll have seen us in Boots for 15 years.
Nip + Fab isn't a brand that appeared on your phone last week. We're a British skincare company, and we've been on Boots shelves since 2011 — which means every formula on this page has cleared Boots' own safety, efficacy and quality standards, year after year, for fifteen years.
You'll find us, pride of place, on the Boots shelves. We've had over 200,000 customers, and more than 30,000 five-star reviews.
We've made this page to replicate what we believe here at Nip and Fab. We'd rather show you the evidence than shout. If you'd feel more comfortable seeing the products in person first — genuinely, go and have a look. We'll be there.
From women who've been exactly where you are
The questions we get asked most
I've spent a fortune on skincare that did nothing. Why would this be different?
That's the right question, and we'd rather answer it with evidence than adjectives. Both formulas went through independent clinical testing with published results and photographs — you've seen the before and afters above, unretouched, with the timeframes stated. Both have been sold in Boots for years, which means they've cleared someone else's standards as well as our own.
Why is this cheaper than the brands I usually buy?
Because you're not paying for the box. A large share of what you pay for luxury skincare goes on packaging, department store counters and celebrity contracts rather than on what's inside. Our formulas use clinically proven actives — 5% SK-Influx® ceramides, copper peptides, bakuchiol — at concentrations we're happy to print on the front of the bottle. We're not the cheapest on the market and we don't claim to be. We're just honest about what you're paying for.
Isn't an oil going to make me break out?
This one's lightweight and non-greasy, and it's dermatologically tested on sensitive skin. Counterintuitively, oily skin often improves — when skin is properly hydrated it produces less excess oil to compensate.
I'm 60. Is it too late
No. Your skin keeps producing collagen at every age, just more slowly. Peptides signal it to produce more, regardless of where you're starting from. Plenty of our reviewers are in their sixties and seventies.
Where does this go in my routine?
Cleanse → (any serum you already use) → Step 1, the cream → Step 2, the oil, last. It replaces your night cream. It doesn't replace anything else.
Can I use it with my retinol?
Yes. Peptides work by a different mechanism and pair well with retinol — the ceramide cream actually improves your skin's tolerance of it. If you're not using retinol and don't want to, the bakuchiol in the oil gives you a gentler version of the same benefits
How long until I see something?
Hydration and glow: within a few days. Texture and smoothness: 2–4 weeks. Lines and firmness: 4–8 weeks. The duo lasts roughly 8 weeks of nightly use, which is deliberately about the length of time it takes to see the full result.
