In the morning after cleansing

2 in 1 - how to use it

First line of defence - TONE

Provide the skin with instant hydration and the first layer of protection. Rejuvenating peptides help to plump, firm and tone whilst antioxidant Vitamin E and UV filters help to protect skin against external aggressors and UV damage. Use after cleansing, followed by your daily skincare routine. Then lock it in with your usual SPF.

Top up throughout the day - SPRITZ

Reapply every 2 hours to maintain a level of protection and add a dewy glow - even over make-up! Most people do not apply enough SPF. We recommend using your usual SPF and using the mist as a top-up regularly throughout the day.

Get the best results from your skincare

Without proper protection, UV exposure can undo the progress you're making with your daily routine. Daily SPF shields your skin from this damage and ensures you get the best results from your other products, especially if you’re using exfoliants or Retinol, which can make your skin more prone to UV damage.

Premature aging

Visible signs of ageing and changes in the skin are influenced by certain genetic factors and environmental factors, including sun exposure. Exposure to UV radiation include one of the key factors responsible for premature aging termed as photoaging. Repeated exposure to UV leads to photo damage, which contributes to the degradation of collagen and interferes with the production of new collagen and elastin, resulting is accelerated aging- premature aging: loss of skin elasticity, skin roughness and dryness, irregular pigmentation and deep wrinkling.

Photoprotection helps prevent skin aging. Sunscreen agents protect and shield the skin by minimising the damaging effects of harmful UV radiation from the sun, thereby reducing the progression of skin aging. Consistently using sunscreen daily alongside other products in your skincare routine is the most effective way to help preserve and proactively maintain long-term skin health and a youthful complexion. Even the best anti-aging routines can't replace the need for sunscreen. Without it, the benefits of these products may be compromised or less effective.

Your questions, answered

Do I need to use this all year round?

Yes. Your skin is exposed to UV radiation all year round so needs to be protected, even on cold, cloudier days

Can this be applied over Make-Up and still offer protection?

Like skincare, make-up is breathable so will allow for some permeability of the Mist to help maintain protection. The Peptide Mist is a lightweight, invisible, non-greasy formula, perfect to spritz throughout the day. When spraying over make-up, its best to allow for the mist to air dry to avoid disturbing make-up.

How much do I apply to get full SPF50 coverage?

The Peptide Mist is not designed to replace your main sunscreen. It is a hybrid skincare product with added SPF that makes reapplication easy and realistic. All sunscreens, no matter the format, need to be reapplied every 2 to 3 hours to maintain protection.

This is also why SPF in make-up or primers should not be relied on as your only protection. These products are usually applied too lightly and not reapplied often enough to give consistent coverage.

A few sprays of the mist during the day provide a valuable boost on top of your base sunscreen, helping to refresh and reinforce protection without disturbing make-up or skincare.

To achieve the full SPF50 shown on the label, you would need to apply about 2 mg per cm² of skin — the global guideline for all sunscreens. In the case of the Peptide Mist, this equals around 25 to 30 sprays if you were relying on it as your only sunscreen, which is not how we recommend using this product.

Will using it as a toner block the absorption of my morning routine actives into the skin?

This product doesn’t contain wax or film forming ingredients therefore allowing other ingredients to be absorbed.

Do I need to use another sunscreen over the Peptide Mist?

Yes. We recommend using additional SPF Moisturiser as the last step of your skincare routine and popping Peptide Mist in your bag for top-ups throughout the day or whilst on the go.

Can I keep it with me during the day even if it is hot outside or will it effect the formula?

This product should not be kept in direct sunlight.

Can I use this as a substitute for my suncream on holiday?

This product is not a substitute for daily sun protection and recommend you still apply a generous amount of your usual primary sunscreen.

How many times per day should I be topping up my protection?

Sunscreen should be reapplied every two hours, or more often when sweating and after swimming, exercise or towel drying.

Is this Water Resistant?

No, the product is designed for daily use, but if you are planning to spend a day at the beach or pool, you’ll need to reapply after swimming and/or profusely sweating i.e. after sport.

How long does the product last, does the protection degrade with time

This product has a period after opening of 6 months and so the product should be used within this timeframe or discarded after.

Does this protect against Blue Light, also called HEV (High Energy Visible)?

This product has not been developed to protect against blue light.
