The science

When UVA rays reach your skin, they penetrate into the dermis and disrupt natural compounds. This leads to the formation of what we call free radicals. Free radicals are unstable molecules that seek to stabilise themselves by reacting with other molecules. In doing so, they can damage skin cells, including vital structures like collagen. This process is one of the key contributors to visible signs of ageing. Using daily sun protection helps significantly reduce the risk of UVA-induced damage. When combined with ingredients like ectoin and vitamin C, the benefits go even further. While SPF helps prevent the formation of free radicals, vitamin C can help neutralise any that do form, protecting your skin cells from oxidative stress and supporting overall skin health. This type of damage occurs all year round, regardless of the weather, which is why daily sun protection is essential.

How to use

  • Gently massage the Peptide Fix Melting Jelly Cleanser onto dry skin, as the first step in your routine. Rinse off with lukewarm water.
  • Apply the Ceramide Fix Base Build Moisture Milk liberally to the palm of your hands and gently press into the face, neck and décolleté
  • Apply 2-3 drops of the Vitamin C Fix Concentrate should be applied after cleansing/milk layer.
  • Use a generous amount of the Hyaluronic Fix SPF 50 Moisturiser at least 30 minutes before sun exposure.
  • Spray the Peptide Fix SPF 50 Toning Mist to skin or over makeup to top-up your SPF protection throughout the day.

Is this a chemical or mineral sunscreen filters?

The Hyaluronic Fix Extreme4 Nourishing SPF 50 Moisturiser is a Chemical sunscreen - the UV filters absorb the UV rays and covert them to heat energy. By using chemical filters, it allows for a lightweight invisible formula.

Does it leave a white cast on the skin after application?

No, the Hyaluronic Fix Extreme4 Nourishing SPF 50 Moisturiser leaves a slightly dewy finish with no white cast.

How long should I wait before applying this after the rest of my routine?

Thanks to its lightweight and layerable formula, the Hyaluronic Fix Extreme4 Nourishing SPF 50 Moisturiser is easy to incorporate into your routine. After applying your serum, wait 1-2 minutes to allow it to fully absorb into the skin. Then, follow up with the SPF moisturiser to lock in moisture and create a protective barrier for your skin. 

Will this clog my pores?

This formula is non-comedogenic, which means it has been developed not to clog pores.

Do I need to use this all year round?

Yes. Your skin is exposed to UV radiation all year round so needs to be protected, even on cold, cloudier days.

Why do I need to use this in the winter if the sun is not out?

How many times per day should I be topping up my protection?

Sunscreen should be reapplied every two hours, or more often when sweating and after swimming, exercise or towel drying.

Is this water resistant?

No, the product is designed for daily use, but if you are planning to spend a day at the beach or pool, you’ll need to reapply after swimming and/or profusely sweating i.e. after sport

Can I apply makeup on top?

Yes, once absorbed, this provides a great, dewy base.

Should I let is dry before applying makeup?

Yes. Allow the Hyaluronic Fix Extreme4 Nourishing SPF 50 Moisturiser to fully absorb and sink into your skin for 10-15 minutes before applying makeup. Applying makeup too soon can disturb the sunscreen, reducing its effectiveness as the blending and buffing can disrupt its protective layer.

Can I use this as my only sunscreen when on holiday?

Our Hyaluronic Fix Extreme4 Nourishing SPF 50 Moisturiser has been specially formulated for the face with a lightweight, layerable formula offering broad-spectrum SPF 50 protection, combined with nourishing skincare benefits. Convenient and easy to use every day. However, if you're planning to spend extended time in the sun or enjoying  water activities (like swimming), we recommend using an high factor SPF designed for those conditions to optimise protection, with regular reapplication throughout the day.
