At what age should I start using retinol?

It's generally recommended to start using retinol from your mid 20s to early 30s to help with early signs of ageing and improve skin texture. If you begin to notice signs of ageing in your late 20s or early 30s such as fine lines, uneven skin tone, or texture issues, incorporating retinol in your skincare routine can be beneficial.

Retinol can make your skin more sensitive to the sun. It is crucial to use SPF daily to protect your skin from UV damage when using retinol.

How to use retinol

When starting retinol, begin only using once or twice a week and gradually increase the frequency of application as your skin adjusts. Our retinol products are formulated with other ingredients to ensure skin is soothed and hydrated at the same time, so you shouldn't experience irritation but it is always advised to start slowly and build up your skin's tolerance to the ingredient.
