Tell your Skin Story

Do you have a Nip + Fab routine that has changed your skin for the better? Through our 'Skin Stories' campaign, we hope to empower women with the knowledge of great skincare, to spread the joy of great skin with others. To help us do this, we would love to hear about your experience and feature your success story! Send your submissions to enquiries@nipandfab.co.uk

Guidelines

Ideal length: 3-5 minutes long, with product appearing within the first 3 seconds

We would like you to show and name the Nip + Fab products that you have been using, if you would like to apply the products while filming, that is completely up to you! Make sure to mention your main skin concerns at the beginning of the video.

Talk about the most significant results you have seen in your time of using the product, be specific and show the changes on your skin up close.

We want to see your real, natural skin, so make sure not to wear makeup when filming.

Example submission

Watch the video below to see an example of the type of content to submit. Editing and text is not required.

Lighting

Our preferred light is always natural light so if you can get near to a window then please do. If you need to fake this with a ring light or other lights, that's fine just make sure it's not 'too cool' or blue. Ideally we want light that is even across your whole face and not only on one side.

Camera & Framing

  • Make sure your lens is clean so we can see you crystal clear.
  • Don't be afraid to get a little closer to the camera.
  • Don’t film using a filter and do not apply one at the end.
  • Use the full name of the product and brand when mentioning it
  • Show what the product looks like when applying

When showing packaging please make sure that sure labels face the correct way, and that your hands are not covering the front label.

Eyeline

  • Look straight ahead.
  • The lens of your camera needs to be at eye level.
  • Do not look down at your phone when filming, we want to see your face, not your chin.
  • Look in the lens when you're talking and not at yourself.
  • Use a sticky dot on your phone next to the lens and look at it when you’re filming to help with this.
  • Have a mirror close by to check your appearance as you film.

Background

  • Try to have a plain background, but if you can't then make sure it is tidy.
  • Close cupboard doors, move suitcases and washing piles.
  • Please try and avoid filming the celing if possible
  • Is there something on the wall that will catch the attention of the viewer?

Make sure there isn't anything distracting, the objective is for people to watch you and listen to your story.

Tip! If you come closer to the camera and fill the screen with your face, you won't see much background!
